Founded in 2022, IRL-A is a London-based studio dedicated to creating ecologically and culturally sensitive architecture.

Rooted in deep research and strategic design, their approach acts as an example, exploring mutable eco-cultural environmental feedback and response through essential form, integrating clear structural elements while embracing entropy within the built environment.

Through interfacing with existing organisational structures and processes, IRL-A meets the cultural, material, programmatic and environmental needs of multiple clients and actors.

IRL–A is the architectural component of Interfacing Research Laboratory, a design practice exploring industrial production as a contemporary form of folk craft.
