A 1:1 MODEL IN A ROOM

An exhibition exploring the power of material ecology, alternative histories of enclosure, form and practice.

The object is a set of primary elements (12 columns and a beam) that construct an urban artefact. It is a 1:1 model made of standardised, rapidly constructible birch plywood modules that define a perimeter/ boundary embedded into the city. IRL used the process of installation to investigate the power of material ecology, alternative histories, form and practice.
