HEMLOCK WINE BAR

A natural wine bar built into an unused ground floor car parking lot in Seoul.

Hemlock emerges as a unique natural wine bar nestled within an unused ground floor car parking lot in Seoul. This unconventional space has been transformed into a vibrant hub where fine wines mingle with the scent of freshly crafted woodwork.

The layout of the bar revolves around a bespoke communal table, strategically placed at the heart of the space. This table serves as a central gathering point, fostering a sense of community among patrons. Towards the far end, a modest bar and kitchen quietly complement the ambiance, offering delightful culinary creations.

The interior ambiance emanates authenticity and warmth, owing to the collaboration with local artisans. Through their craftsmanship, the bar's wooden fixtures and furniture tell a story of traditional techniques interwoven with contemporary design.

Hemlock is a testament to the creativity of repurposing forgotten spaces, inviting guests to savour not just exquisite wines but also the unique atmosphere crafted within these creatively transformed walls.
